KIDS SUNGLASSES

Everything in fashion seems to be so accessible to kids now days.  I certainly don’t remember very cool shades such as these being available in kids sizes… but then again, I did grow up in the 70’s which now seems like an eternity ago (no computers, no email, no cell phones, no facebook! My how different life is now for our kids).

But I digress.  This post is about the very groovy sunglasses available to kids, and I’ve picked some of my favorites for the season (I’ve also picked sunglasses that are under $15, as I know that as hard as you try, they probably won’t last the entire summer!):

For the Boys:

1. Aviator glasses from the Gap – these all time classics are $9.50.

2. Inspired by the Wayfarer classics, these glasses are still a big hit this season -$10.50 from 77 Kids, shown here in blue and black, but available in a bunch of other colors too

For the Girls:

1. Jackie O inspired sunnies from Old Navy – these classics come in black, tortoise shell, or this great purple, and are $6.50

2. Wayfayer style glasses for the girls – 77 kids has a range of great colors including this hot pink and orange.
