Danish designer Anette Nordrup found a drawing of a matchstick man her husband drew at 4 years of age and decided that the little fella would become the logo for her label GRO. An old used button, some funny patch pockets in an old movie and every-day-life in general is what inspires Anette. The cuts are clean, but the lovely details are what make GRO’s design totally unique. Although some of the details seem retro, the cut is combined, so that the expression is very modern. Anette has carefully selected the different colours and patterns, so that both they, and the different parts, can be mixed in all sorts of combinations. Plus, the clothes proudly shows off its source with a small Danish flag sewn on. New to the range is the organic cotton tees. You will be sure to see Prince Christian in one of these designs.
