Koolabah is a reflection of the designer’s personal aesthetic. Inspiration is drawn from the Japanese simplicity and the typical Scandinavian functionality, proposing clean lines, neat shapes and quirky details that make each piece a small work of art.

Koolabahs proposal for Spring/Summer 2011 is an eclectic fusion between Jean Claude Van Damme back in the eighties and small crawling insects.

Nina Wolf, creator of Koolabah, told us, “It may come across as something rather awkward but, we dare to say that the final result became pretty interesting. The textiles used in this collection are kept simple and in neutral tones in order to emphasize the power of the cuts.”

The collection presents shorts to be worn at the “true” waist, oversized trousers, multilayered vest’s, tailored tees & razorblade tops….. here is a sneak peak:
