live. breathe. create. bloom. is the mantra of this visionary design house aptly called Babylady Inc.

Babylady Inc. was founded in 2009 by Brooklyn fashion aficionado and mother, Kat West.

As a New York based label, Babylady Inc. is committed to supporting New York City’s suffering
Garment District and is currently manufacturing 100% of their designs locally.

Babylady Inc.’s mission is simple,

“We want to inspire and ignite creativity. We want people to be fearless in a world where
everyone dresses as an extension of happiness.”

The pieces in this range have been kept simple, which is part of their appeal, and you would expect your children could put these on themselves. Each item is available in the simple red and white or black and white check, or a plain red block colour. I do rather like the Blooming Jumper….

native. These are the hottest knew kids shoes on the planet right now. You see a Little Hipster in the street with a pair on his (or her) feet, and you will want your child in a pair!

I know, I know, they remind you of Crocs, and Crocs are not soooo cool, so you are probably reading this thinking we have flipped our lids, however, be assured, we have not. I am surprised they have not yet made their way onto celebrity mini feet.

5 reasons you will love them:

1.They look good (our favourites are the jefferson).

2. They are comfortable.

3. No socks are required.

4. Look VERY cool with jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses.

5.They can be taken on and off without help – (ok small bonus, that’s why its last)

Have you seen this site? Its loads of fun, and we don’t just means the shopping part, well that is fun. we got a little carried away with the mix and match section that had the ability to “buy” the look with a simple click, but we didn’t fill the cart up just yet.

The range itself is surprising in it simplicity and practicality and the prices are not over the top. With sizes starting at 0 and going up to 12 years you can choose from cashmere blend knits, stretch corduroy shorts and jeans, pea coats and dresses, oh, and the bright yellow gum boots (wellingtons) are already sold out so don’t get too excited over those.
Apparently Ms McCartney wanted to create a fun, desirable, wearable kid’s collection that was affordable, and, well, she pretty much did.

Jennifer Lopez and twins for gucci

With their mother’s stunning looks it is no surprise that Jennifer Lopez’s twins Max and Emme are a hit in front of the camera. The two-and-a-half year old twins have become the faces of Gucci’s new clothing line for children, appearing in adverts alongside their famous mother. In the newly released pictures, the gorgeous little ones play in the sand and cuddle up to Jennifer during a shoot that took place this summer in Malibu, California.

Jennifer, 41, recently spoke about the experience of working with her children for the first time.

‘It’s the first time I have worked with my kids in that way,’ said the hands-on mum.

‘It was a totally special experience.’

‘I did a photo shoot when they were three weeks old, but now that they are two and a half, it’s totally different.’

It sounds as if Emme is following in her mother’s footsteps and is already showing signs of a fashionista where as her son is a little more relaxed.

Fashion forward: Max and Emmy, Jennifer Lopez' twins, are the new faces of the children's Gucci line

For a good cause: The new range donates proceeds to UNICEF's Schools For Africa program

‘Emme picks out her own outfits and likes to sleep in her princess dress. It’s hard to get Max dressed. He prefers to run around the house with no clothes on.’

The new Gucci range hits stores on November 20 and in honour of the international launch, Gucci is pledging $1 million to UNICEF’s Schools For Africa initiative.

They are also donating $50,000 to Jennifer’s charity the Maribel Institute.

Jennifer admitted that her and husband Marc Anthony had been hesitant to involve the children until being touched by Gucci designer Frida Giannini’s personal plight to improve living and education standards for the most disadvantaged of kids in Africa

‘As a mother, I am proud to be a part of this campaign to benefit UNICEF’s Schools For Africa programme,’ said Jennifer.

Beberavi is a mission driven company designing exquisite, hand-knit clothing for infants and children. While using only the softest and most luxurious yarns, the collection represents true quality in both product and purpose. Beberavi, which means “baby’s delight,” was started in 2004 by Supermodel, and mother of 2, Siamanda Chege, a native of Kenya, as she felt compelled to give back to her community in a truly sustainable way.

The company employs 100 women from rural villages in Kenya, devastated by the HIV/AIDS virus and high unemployment. By providing jobs, exceptional working conditions, and above average wages, Beberavi is literally helping to transform whole communities. This New York based company’s products are hand knitted and crocheted from the finest Italian Yarns. The wool line of sweaters and blankets are made from 100% extra fine merino wool and the cotton products are from combed Egyptian cotton – beautiful quality AND all their products are manufactured in Kenya. Every purchase we make helps them help others. Sounds easy.

In addition, a percentage of Beberavi’s revenue goes back into the community through the Patrick Chege Orphanage – currently providing a home and future to 25 children. (www.chegeorphans.com)

Placed under the sign of authenticity and uncompromising style, Bandit-1$M mixes bold designs and smart messages in an array of catchy colors. Tees are the main subject, but the Bandit-1$M way of life actually extends to every facet of your daily routine, via hats, stickers, cushions, posters, wall design and lots more.

Bandit-1$M was brought to life in 2007 by the creative minds of 123KLAN.  Founded by Scien and Klor, its name echoes their evolution: first renowned for their graffiti pieces, they became sought after for their signature style and strong designs. Graffiti being considered vandalism, their way of making a living out of criminal acts is known as “banditisme”, banditry. The “1$M” part, besides referring to dirty money, is a twisted version of the “123” from 123KLAN.

Amongst a collection of very cool adults apparel and accessories (worth checking out for yourself..) they have a collection of kids tees available also!

We recently posted two MiniHipsters featuring Bandit-1$M, twins Tommy and Cleo.

Bandit-1$M offers the latest trends and hottest designs thanks to 123KLAN’s expertise gained by collaborating with numerous widely-renowned streetwear brands, with the added advantage of delivering them directly to you to ensure top freshness.
