European Culture, the name says it all. The pieces in this range are soft and flowy and have a real European touch about them. They are just beautiful.  The rich velvet navy jacket is a stand out piece, as is the soft cotton black pants paired with the light pink blazer. Its all for girls.

Swedish Hasbeens shoes are hand-made using the same craftsmanship as in the the 70s which is kind to people and nature. They only use natural materials which means you could pretty much bury your shoes in your garden.

Like all hand-made stuff using natural materials every pair will be unique which is a sign of quality. So don’t worry if the wood varies in color and if there are twigs in it. Natural grain leather may also have marks and may vary in color and thickness. The untreated natural colored leather will darken with time. The colored leather, like black, might rub off on other light stuff. The color on the painted wooden sole and the rubber sole will wear off in a natural way with time. Hand-made stuff with natural materials just makes you more unique… which is really great…if you like being unique that is…

And the genius behind Swedish Hasbeens? Her name was Anita and she was the hottest mum in all of Southern Sweden in the 1970’s. While smoking Camel she screamed at her kids until her curlers fell out and she just looked fabulous in her white high-heeled clogs.  One summer day in 2006 the creators of the brand found the shoes she wore (300 pairs of red, white and black beautiful clogs from the 70’s) in the basement of an old clog factory in the neighboring village and brought them to Stockholm, and thus Swedish Hasbeens was born.

The children’s range is very select and we would love to see much more, especially the boots, but we think your girls will have fun in these:

Metalicus has long been a favourite for grown ups, as each of the pieces are so easily layered with another, or easily worn with jeans or dresses. The collection of separates is distinctive due to the use of two way stretch “one size” fabrications with constantly changing on-trend styling and seasonal colour palettes. The Mini Metalicus range for girls is not much different, just smaller.

Stables in this line include long sleeve tops & short sleeve tees, groovy striped leggings, cross over ballet tops and little a-line skirts. The colours change each season and you can also buy some more stylized tops with an embellishment or bow, but essentially, you can add an item you have in your wardrobe from last season and simply match it with a new piece. Because the sizes are offered in doubles (2-4 and 4-6 etc) you are also guaranteed to get a few seasons out of your piece (so they have a chance of getting worn out instead of your minihipster growing out of them).

Ballet flats are not only comfortable for your minihipster-ette, but you can throw them on with absolutely anything – and we mean anything! Jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts, pants. The only decision you need to make is, which colour!
Suri Cruise has many a pair, looking over old photos of this little stylish lady we have found many colours in her collection. She even has several pairs in the same colour, like these purple ones below.
Madonna’s daughter, Mercy is another fan of the ballet flat, she has several pairs in black! We have searched the globe and picked out some super stylish ballet flats just for you.
You can click onto the pictures to get to the site to find your shoe. Enjoy!

Playing dress-up in mommy’s closet is every little fashionista’s favorite game and exactly the inspiration for Tiny Pants, a brand new line for girls ages 2-14. Proving that “style comes tiny too,” Tiny Pants offers mini stylistas runway inspired pieces designed especially for them and not just shrunken down versions of women’s apparel.

Tiny Pants launches for Fall 2010 with a range of fashion-forward pieces in a candy-colored palette of fuchsia, green, purple, navy and chocolate. Tiny Pants’ debut collection features motorcycle influences mixed with feminine details, extraordinary attention to detail, which is apparent in the signature ruffles at the cuffs and contrasting zipper pockets on tunics, and vibrant colors that appeal to parents and to the heart of kids.

Standout pieces include the clear raincoat that softens its military influence with an outline of green or pink satin ribbon; the fitted velvet blazer with detachable silk petticoat and velvet cropped pants, the belted ruffle shirt dress, clever head scarves, wool poncho and motorcycle jacket.

Girls usually gravitate towards pretty, floaty, soft frocks for summer, but with shorts such a strong trend for “grown ups” this past and coming summer, its time the girls got themselves into a pair of groovy shorts:

Most shorts can easily be accessorised with a plain white tee shirt, add a pair of gladiator sandals and you will be grooving all summer. Here are some of our favorites from 77Kids by American Eagle
