We came across this great site Peddlers - which has a million different and unusual and unique things to choose from for adults and kids. We have pulled out some classic gifts and some presents which will get squeals of laughter from your Hipsters.

It all started in March of this year – Stella McCartney asked for kids to express their creativeness by drawing an imaginary animal. Over 500 kids sent their entries from all over the world, 200 made it to the final and then 2 were selected. The winning entries were from Iceland and Brazil…..

Watch out Dad! Meet the three-year-old who wears Chanel, walks runways and is muse to Karl Lagerfeld (just like his father)

As far as resumés go, male model Hudson Kroenig’s is very impressive.

He has walked the runway for Chanel, starred in a Fendi campaign and calls Karl Lagerfeld ‘uncle.’

It’s a little unnerving, then, that Hudson Kroenig is just three years old – and that he was just one when he provoked a thousand coos across the fashion world when modelling at Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show.

With a father like Brad Kroenig, super male model and close friend of Lagerfeld, Hudson’s childhood was perhaps never destined to be dull.

In a set of photos that will make some melt and others shake their heads in despondency towards the state of high-end fashion, Hudson’s wardrobe, complete with Chanel boots, Fendi hi-tops, designer scarves and vast range of Nike sneakers is paraded for the adult world to see.

Not to be out-done, the tiny blond’s coutour Chanel ‘Canadian tuxedo’ – double denim, that is – sits alongside specially-made Karl Lagerfeld ‘teddy bears’. Think cuddly toys with white fur, dark glasses black blazers and signature high collars.

Describing the photos at The Coveteur, father Brad, 32, is more than happy to accentuate his son’s premature fashion prowess.

‘Hudson loves doing pictures with Karl and was so excited to go to Paris for the Fendi shoot. He talked about it for weeks,’ narrates Lagerfeld muse, Snr.

The boy is most likely unable to write his name yet, let alone understand the sartorial concept of ‘layering’, so it is with a pinch of salt that we take this next comment: ‘Hudson likes to get dressed up, especially in jackets & blazers. This is one of his favorites. He loves accessories and loves to layer items. Scarves are his new favorite.’

The words hover next to a light blue striped summer blazer by Crewcut and a Fendi scarf, aviator sunglasses tucked into the outfit’s collar.

Brad, who has been the face of campaigns for DKNY, Gap, H&M and Roberto Cavalli, is even the subject of Metamorphoses of an American, a book chronicling the Florida native’s modelling career by Karl Lagerfeld.

Describing a tiny grey vest, the proud father says: ‘This is the vest he wore in the Fendi Campaign’ – as shot by Lagerfeld – while a bold pair of silver and blue Nikes are apparently chosen by the mini model himself.

‘He loves Nikes & thinks all the different colors are cool. We always let him pick which pairs he wants to buy from the store,’ says Brad.

‘Karl has been so kind and sweet with Hudson. Hudson loves spending time with him and gets so excited when Karl comes to NYC or when we go to Europe to visit him,’ he goes on.

The Chanel creative has photographed the budding fashionisto a number of times, and one shot shows a framed photo of Hudson, as taken by Uncle Karl. The child even sleeps with one of Lagerfeld’s gifted dolls. Perhaps taking a lead from his Chanel stylists, Hudson seems a particular fan of the cowboy aesthetic.

‘He loves his cowboy boots!! He even wears them in the sandbox at the playground!’ says the former Abercrombie & Fitch face and self-declared ladies’ man.

‘Hudson loves to take pictures with Daddy. He definitely looks up to Daddy and thinks its cool to participate in special shoots. Hudson always talks about all the “pretty model girls,” already a ladies man. Wonder who he takes after…’

To be fair, though, it’d take a hard woman not to be charmed by the toddler – especially if he’s on the hand of his dashing father.

From New York magazine’s fashion blog, The Cut:

“The Internet is saturated with street style documentarians, especially those featuring the smartly accessorized and well-layered denizens of the globe’s coolest cities. We’ve got nothing against well-heeled editors or models in the wild, but it’s time to take a look at a rarer breed of bloggers: Those who focus their lenses on unlikelier subjects, whether of certain age, size, sexual persuasion, or even, in two cases, species. Some have created new categories or reimagined the medium, shunning photography in favor of illustration. We tracked down several street style innovators — past and present — to see what motivated them to spotlight more offbeat subjects.”

Stella McCartney has a competition to bring out the creativity in your little hipster.

Only 4 steps to enter the contest!

Stella’s contest theme is imaginary animals…

Encourage your child to draw an animal that would only exist in a dream…

Like bunnies wearing sneakers, a cat with wings, a cow with a mustache… But remember, this is a contest for kids only!
Draw on a square sheet of paper, trying to center as much as possible.

Capture your child’s artwork

Moshi Monsters is a virtual world for children that allows users to adopt and care for their own pet monsters. Users create a home for their pet monster in Monstro City, play games and make friends, and show off their monster and home to everyone

Mind Candy CEO Michael Acton Smith came to the tech crunch office to explain about Moshi Monsters, his company’s virtual world for kids that is signing up a new member every second. Moshi Monsters was his “last roll of the dice” to save his virtual worlds startup in 2008, and it worked. Moshi Monsters is up to 35 million registered users, with about 7 million of those active every month, says Smith. And it is projected to generate $100 million this year from a combination of subscriptions and gross retail merchandise sales.

The site is geared towards kids between 5 to 12 years old. Each kid gets a monster pet and a room that can be decked out with virtual goods. But instead of trying to create “just another bloody virtual world,” Smith wanted it to be more like a safe social network. “Instead of copying Club Penguin,” he says, “we focused more on Facebook and tried to re-imagine that for kids.” There is pin board where friends can leave messages and a news feed, but there are also games, quizes and virtual world activities. The penny-drop moment for us was that kids like to share and show off online just as much as adults do,” he says. “If we could create the safe place online, we could create Facebook for kids.”

Moshi Monsters started in the UK, where Mind Candy is based, but now the U.S. is its biggest market. It makes money off of subscriptions ($50 a year to unlock different levels and get extra powers), but there are also toys and today it even launched a magazine for kids, Moshi Monsters Magazine (print’s not dead!). Smith wants to create a mini media empire from the little monsters, with plans to develop video games, TV shows, books, and iPhone/iPad apps.

In the clip below he demonstrates the first Moshi Monster iPhone app, which gives you a Moshi Monster mouth that moves as you speak.

The Golden Globes provided us with some Beee-utiful dresses last night. The red carpet arrivals was the most fun to watch (we won’t mention Ricky Gervais’ hosting skills as many people are quite divided, and well, he was a little nasty) ANYWAY – we decided to draw inspiration from the lovely bright frocks worn on some of our favourite movie stars and we found some “mini” versions just for your pretty little hipster-ettes.

If you liked Heidi Klum’s “nod to the 70’s” dress, we found these gorgeous Lilly Pulitzer designs

Sophia Vergara and Julianne Moore’s bright pinks made a bold statement, just like this Mini Marc Jacobs in fuschia

Amy Adam’s navy blue made a simple and bold statement and so does this navy and white Dior. The Little Marc Jacobs elephant and giraffe silk dress is a little more playful.

Angelina Jolie was one of a few actresses who opted for green and it looked stunning with her dark hair. This Juicy Couture feather dress is just as pretty.

This Ralph Lauren orange dress is equally as bright and playful as Kyra Sedgwick’s dress.

Now we actually think that Michelle Williams’ dress is ill fitting and the shape is not at all flattering to her body. But we found a dress by kid’s label Hartstrings that we think is super cute, much closer to her normal style of dressing and still reflects the light floral dress she wore.

We found these gorgeous dresses @ alexandalexa.com || saks.com || neimanmarcus.com
