Yes I said it. There is something quite cool about a pair of cords on your kids.  There are so many options for cords, they are a staple in every brand’s Fall range, but rather than picking up the first wide leg, baggy pair you find, have a look at the cut. You can find everything from Bootleg, Skinny Leg and Flares to the good old Regular style. Everyone from 77kids for American Eagle Outfitters to J Crew and Stella McCartney for Gap have great styles to choose from. Joe’s Jeans have even picked up on this season’s stud trend to include on theirs. That’s one for the girls.

APPAMAN – THIS SEASON’S LINE UP!

Appaman is still delivering some extremely funky children’s wear, after becoming a sensation a few years ago when Brangelina’s eternally cool son Maddox was seen sporting their T’s.

And the brands popularity is well-deserved!
Here’s a quick review of their Spring / Summer 09 line; there’s definitely something for the hippest of minihipsters in this collection, and with sizes from 6 months to 8 years, no mini members of the house will miss out!

There was a time when only bona fide rock stars could get away with wearing the skinny jeans – think Mick Jagger and Iggy Pop…

Yet the skinny jeans have now well and truly arrived, and it looks like they’re here to stay (at least a little while longer). We’ve noticed more and more minihipster’s donning the slim-fit jeans, like Archie (below left) in his straight-legged jeans from the Gap and little Lenox in his Levis (below right).

It took me a while to get used to them… but they’ve certainly grown on me (or shrunk, as the case may be).
