The first of Stella McCartney Kids Spring 2011 is being released and we she doesn’t disappoint. There are certainly plenty of pieces in this range that will give your child a unique style. There seems to be more to choose from in the girls range but they have kept some key favourites from last season’s boys range like the bright blue jeans. Watch out for the girls flower print waterproof hoody, this is going to be on your daughter’s must have list. Interestingly it didn’t make it onto Stella’s pick list.

Here are some of our top picks for Fall:

Eric: These will look good with jeans

Logan: great with denim jeans and a nice navy puffa jacket

Shari: This is a pretty butter yellow which will look beautiful with a navy skirt

Jordan: These will work well with a prety red dress1
Oh, and PS: Their footwear meets the American Podiatric Medical Association’s rigorous standards for foot health and functionality and has been awarded the APMA’s prestigious Seal of Acceptance. Always important.

Girls usually gravitate towards pretty, floaty, soft frocks for summer, but with shorts such a strong trend for “grown ups” this past and coming summer, its time the girls got themselves into a pair of groovy shorts:
Most shorts can easily be accessorised with a plain white tee shirt, add a pair of gladiator sandals and you will be grooving all summer. Here are some of our favorites from 77Kids by American Eagle

Amongst the millions of brands of children’s clothing on the market, Sudo stands out for several reasons; the brand’s primary focus is on fit, construction and function-ability and they seem to have nailed the designs for both boys and girls, which isn’t always easy. We have pulled out some of our favorites from their new collection.

Little James is the new French brand which gives style to boys from 2 to 12 years.
Their current Autumn-Winter Collection invites you to take a tour of France. Each piece has been inspired by an exceptional landscape or prestigious establishment in favorite regions throughout France.
Every item within the collection is made for the comfort of little men, with adjusted fittings and soft (yet durable) fabrics.

Traditional, contemporary and sophisticated, these are the main characteristics of the Rose&Bleu brand. Focusing on children’s wear for 0 -8 year olds, Nathalie Rifka & Patricia Germanoso’s company, based in Sao Paulo Brazil has grown in popularity very quickly and can be found throughout the world. The pieces are very classic and simple, which makes them perfect to match with other pieces in your child’s wardrobe. The scarf shown above is a must have, and an item you could make into a family heirloom.
Since its inception, Rose&Bleu felt it important to support and work with underprivileged women, with part of the collection, particularly the crochet pieces, made by disadvantaged mothers and girls throughout Brazil.

Now your boy can be part of the Brit cool team that has a celebrity following including Ewan McGregor, Damon Albarn (Blur), Paul Weller (Style Council) & Amy Winehouse, just to name a few. Hullubullu : Because they are based in the Southern Hemisphere, the range available now is all about Summer, but the pieces are designed to be versatile so you can get a couple of seasons out of them. The dresses work well with a paif of leggings and a knited cardigan and you can team the boys shirts with a long sleeve tee underneath or a plain v neck sweater over the top so that the collar of the shirt peeks out.
