Interactive t-shirts from Japan.
理性と感性のバランス、可能性の発見、偶然の連鎖、ときどき生まれるプロダクト。
“Balance between rationality and sensitivity, inquiry into new possibilities, chain of coinsidence and the occasional birth of new products.”
Noto-Fusai is a designer duo consisting of the two designers Noto Hirotsugu and Noto Miyo, who lauched the alternative t-shirt brand [ shikisai ] in 2005. Centering on the proposal of new products, they are pursuing the positive possibilities in every side of the contemporary society.

“Noto” is their last name. “Fu” means husband. “Sai” means wife. All together, Noto-Fusai stands for “Mr. and Mrs. Noto”.

Their designs are interesting and quirky, but definitely fun. And perhaps best of all are their selecion of interactive t-shirts, with the printed motif has a “functional” element that extends beyond the 2D.

And luckily, they’re not just for the little ones…!

Check out their full range of design items on their website (with online shop!): www.notofusai.com

They may be too young to chain themselves to old growth trees or join the fight to save the whales, but the bubs in your life can take up the greenie cause by kitting themselves out in sustainable clothing. (And promising to invent the no-emission car when they’re older; but first things first, eh?)
EcoPeko is a new bubs clothing label featuring two styles of organic teeshirts. Eco Chic is a bold ’save the earth’ style tee that comes in natural or retro green. Each tee comes with a very cute, box shaped, hessian bag for eco kids to put their treasures into. Eco Babies range is a soft subtle style tee that comes in natural or sage. Each shirt has a lovely message and an organic cotton bag as ‘eco babies say no to plastic’.
This earth friendly fashion range is made from 100% Certified organic cotton, has a super high thread count (really soft stuff) and the knitting, stitching & dyeing processes are green from top to bottom, plus they even throw in a packet of organic seeds for you to start a veggie patch!

Halloween is nearly upon us and its time to get into the spirit and start channeling some ghosts and ghouls with these tees.

Jake is 10 years old and has cerebral palsy. But this does not stop him looking cool and having fun. This is his label ‘Jakes’. The range is for adults and kids but is boys only. Sorry girls. The designs are simple and very cool with a small selection tee shirt designs for kids but large for adults. A percentage of the profits goes towards providing for Jake’s future with a further percentage going towards charitable organisations that support Cerebral Palsy.

Jakes of Soho also has a celebrity following with David Beckham a big fan.

I stumbled upon this little beauty over the weekend, and given the current financial crisis we’re in I thought it quite appropriate.

Available in both women’s and girls sizes at $58 for women, $38 for kids sizes 7-14, and $32 for kids sizes 2-6, proceeds from the Juicy Couture ‘Daddy’s Girl’ tee will benefit the Pediatric Urology division at the LA Children’s Hospital.
So you can show Dad how much you love him by wearing your tee 365 days a year, while also supporting a good cause.
