Sometimes we come across things that we fall in love with, or remember with fondness and they may not have anything directly to do with fashion – this Chiquita Banana commercial is one of those.

Produced by the United Fruit Company in the 1940’s, this commercial appeared only in movie theaters, and for over 50 years kept us humming its catchy tune. The voice of Chiquita belongs to MONICA LEWIS (who turned 90 in May 2012)

Maybe you will show your child/children, maybe they will watch it and want to eat a banana, or maybe not. Maybe you will just watch it and it will make you smile, like it did us.
